This is the cake I made for my birthday. It was a flat cupcake, it was a lot of fun.

It is a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.

Well, I have done a few things, and even taken pictures, but can't find my cord to extract my pictures. Maybe I can try to find it in the next couple of days and then can post the pictures. I made earrings for my sister to give to all the sisters, sister-in-laws and mom's. I made a birthday cake, and this week will be making a wedding cake. I am also half way done with a couple of other fun projects. Watch for pictures, I will get them sooner or later.

Here is what I have been working on this last week. I think it turned out great.

I also catered the wedding, it was just brownies with pink accents drizzled on top of chocolate buttercream. Not horrible, but definately a learning experience

So I had an unfinished box similar to this one......

I got it for putting my finished cards in. I had ideas for decorating it but never did anything with it. It sat on my dresser for I don't know how long. Then yesterday I decided I needed to do something with it. So I went through my paper, and found some that I liked together. Then I sat down with the box and this is what I did.

I LOVE the way it turned out. I did end up painting some of the box black, just part of the lid and at the very bottom, parts I decided not to cover with paper. I will also be mod podging it later to help make it last. The great thing is that it is my sisters colors for her wedding and so we can use it for her wedding for collecting the cards at the reception.
